Healing & Healthing: Creating Safe Spaces for Mental Wellness

On February 19, the Elgin Human Relations Committee hosted Healing and Healthing—a powerful health-focused event and community discussion centered on creating safe spaces for those impacted by mental health challenges to share their stories. With nearly 100 people in attendance, the event reminded us all that no one is alone in their journey and that speaking up is an important step toward healing and support.
